This past fall, I took a road trip and we stopped at the Monarch Butterfly Garden. It was amazing to see millions of butterflies.
When we looked up in the trees, this is what we saw.
The clusters in the trees are baby monarch butterflies. We looked through a telescope and we got to see the individual butterflies.
I created a card with butterflies.
The base of the card is Pool Play Cardstock. I attached a piece of Lavender Fusion and Whip Cream Cardstock. On the Whip Cream Cardstock, I stamped the Enjoy the Journey butterfly in Lavender Fusion ink randomly.
I cut a piece of Pool Play and Beach Ball cardstock and cut into banners and adhered these pieces to the Whip Cream Cardstock. I then wrapped Natural Journey Twine and tied a knot.
Then I took a smaller piece of Whip Cream and rounded the corners. I stamped the same butterfly in Pretty Amethyst ink and then stamped the sentiment from the same set in Beach Ball ink on top. I adhered this to the card with foam squares. I then added a wooden clothespin to the card on the twine and tied a bow around the clip.
To finish the card, I added some Journey Sequins- Blue Skies with Journey Glaze. Enjoy!
