Mix it Up! Optional Smooshing Technique

 

Hello Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge at Mix it Up, where anything goes, but the optional twist is to do the smooshing technique. I have not done this technique very many times, so I was excited to get my fingers dirty.  

I started by creating the background with the following:

Using a large block, with the two Distress Oxides and some water, I created the background.  I then die cut the "Happy Birthday" from Lawn Fawn from a red and from a grey cardstock and adhered it to the background.

I finished the card by adding some "Tiny Birthday Friends" colored with my Copics to the card.
